One of the guidelines of the said Memo

from Article X on Duties and Functions of
Learner Government Officers Section 1
under the President role is the conduct
of a State of the Learner Government
Address (SOLGA) during the first and last
quarter of the school year. And in this
connection, Mr. Justine F. Cabriga SSLG
President, had her special address and
aimed to inform the students and the
teachers with the action plan and start
his platforms that would foster
communication and become solutions.
Agreements and thanksgiving are the
feature of the most important ceremony
at the beginning of their term.

This momentous occasion began with

an inspirational message from the
Schools Division Superintendent
Celedonio B. Balderas Jr. The oath-
taking of newly elected division
federation officers was conducted by
SGOD Chief Imelda C. Raymundo and
Nicole May R. Lagar. PDO I discussed
the recommended school-based
activities for the youth formation
development program for SY 2023 -
2024, and SOLGA included a
presentation of GPOA by Justine F.
Cabriga, Division SSLG President. The
program was moderated by Christal
Antonette Padua of WPNHS.
As we witness the convergence of
visionary leaders from across the
Division of Tayabas, coming together
to share their dreams and aspirations
for a better community, and as we
unveil a tapestry of innovative
activities and projects that promise to
reshape the landscape of our beloved
city, these initiatives are not mere
endeavors but stepping stones
towards a thriving and harmonious
community. Together, we inscribe the
legacy of progress and unity in the
annals of Tayabas City's history. Let
this SOLGA be a testament to our
unwavering commitment to our
shared vision, the power of
collaboration, and the indomitable
spirit of our city.

Order.

This aims to create a comprehensive and

informative map that highlights the potential
risks and hazards faced by communities. In line
with this,It is a powerful tool designed to raise
awareness and promote preparedness in the
face of various disaster scenarios.
WPNHS Hazard Map, a comprehensive
visualization of the risks posed by earthquakes,
fires, and floods in this area. This map has been
meticulously crafted to provide essential
information and raise awareness about the
potential hazards that students and other
personnel may encounter. By understanding
these risks, individuals will be better prepared
to mitigate the impact of these hazards and
ensure the safety of themselves and their
communities.

High School Clubs and
Organizations
Orientation and
Election Program
Yesterday morning at 7 am, the
orientation and election program for
West Palale National High School Clubs
and Organizations began at the covered
court, led by Lheyan Charisse Caseres
and John Willie Bauan.

Various clubs were introduced, such as

Yes-O, led by Ms. Danielle Ann Sanchez,
followed by BKD or BARAKADA KONTRA
DROGA, led by Mr. Rhenz Xander
Zarsaga. Next, PALMS OR PALALENIAN
MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY, under the
guidance of Ms. Tricia Aclan, was
presented. The final club introduced
was Teatro at Silakbo. An intermission
was provided to engage and encourage
students to join their preferred club,
followed by a speech from Ms. Althea
Guadamor.

They introduced each club to help

students discover where they should
participate to enhance their skills.
Discussion about the activities within
each club, which can be applied to their
daily lives, is crucial for students.
Understanding their talents through
club involvement is essential, allowing
them to contribute and serve as role
models to their fellow youth.

Day 2023 Celebration"

On November 10, 2023, Loyalty Day was

celebrated with the participation of
Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High
School (SHS) students. The featured
events included the Banner Making
Contest, Headdress Making, Yell, Miss
Loyalty 2023, and the Cosplay
Competition.

During this activity, each student had the

opportunity to get to know their
classmates and colleagues at the grade
level. Every section demonstrated
creativity in participating in the contests,
showing unity and collaboration as they
worked together to carefully name their
respective sections.

The last day of WPNHS intramurals marks the
culmination of weeks of spirited competition,

applaud the outstanding efforts of every
participant.
Cheers and chants echo across the sports grounds
as supporters rally behind their respective teams,
creating an atmosphere of unity and solidarity. The
air is permeated with a sense of healthy
competition, as athletes push themselves to their
limits, showcasing their talent and dedication.
In between matches, moments of respite and
celebration are savored. Laughter, high-fives, and
shared memories of the journey thus far fill the
interim spaces, reflecting the bonds forged and the
friendships strengthened during this exhilarating
extravaganza.
As the sun begins its descent, the final matches take
center stage. The anticipation is palpable, as every
participant pours their heart and soul into their
performances, leaving everything on the field.
These last battles epitomize the resilience,
teamwork, and perseverance that have defined the
intramurals.
After the final whistle, a joyous eruption of applause
reverberates through the crowd. Whether one's
team emerges as the victor or not, the ultimate
spirit of sportsmanship prevails. Athletes embody a

Supreme Secondary
Learner Government
of West Palale NHS
Engages in Youthtalks
on Financial
Management
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government
of West Palale National High School (NHS)
actively participated in the 3rd Session of
Youthtalks, themed "Buwanang Pagpupulong
ng mga Kabataan for Secondary Learners," held
at the Rosario Quesada Integrated National
High School. The event focused on Financial
Management, featuring a compelling
presentation by Guest Speaker, Mrs. Flordelyn
C. Conde.
Mrs. Conde delivered an insightful lecture,
providing valuable insights into the intricacies
of Financial Management for secondary
learners. Her engaging discourse covered
essential topics, empowering the youth with
knowledge on budgeting, saving, and
responsible financial practices.

As a tangible expression of support for youth

savings, Mrs. Conde generously distributed
piggy banks to the attendees. The symbolic
gesture aimed to encourage the habit of saving
among the younger generation, fostering
financial literacy and responsibility from an
early age.
The event took place on December 12, 2023,
starting at 1:30 pm, and served as a platform
for students from West Palale NHS to exchange
ideas, gain practical financial knowledge, and
strengthen their commitment to responsible
financial practices.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government

expressed gratitude to Mrs. Flordelyn C. Conde
and the organizers of the Youthtalks event for
providing an enriching experience that aligns
with their mission to empower and educate the
youth on various essential life skills.
Project Deped's
236,000 Trees

The participation of the SSLG (Supreme

Secondary Learner Government) officers in
Project Deped's 236,000 Trees with Yes O
organization is commendable and
demonstrates their commitment to
environmental conservation.
The participation of 4P's parents, the SSLG
Officers,Youth for Environment in Schools
Organization(Yes-O), Grade 12 - RPV (ACAD)
students, Grade 12 and 11 OAP students, and
WPNHS teachers showcases a collective
effort towards fostering environmental
consciousness among the students and the
wider community.
By engaging in this project, the SSLG officers
not only contribute to the beautification of
their surroundings but also enhance their
leadership skills. Taking part in initiatives like
tree planting encourages teamwork,
responsibility, and a sense of ownership
among the SSLG officers, empowering them
to make positive changes in their community.
Furthermore, the collaboration with the Yes
O organization amplifies the impact of the
project. Yes O, known for its advocacy in
environmental education, can provide
valuable support, resources, and expertise to
ensure the proper execution and long-term
sustainability of the undertaking.
The participation of SSLG officers in Project

organization is a commendable endeavor
that showcases their dedication to

engagement. It is an opportunity for them to

Resounding Success at
West Palale National High
School"
In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the
collaborative project "Pagmamahal at Pag-asa:
Paskong Handog ng Brigada Eskwela" brought joy and
holiday cheer to the students of West Palale National
High School (WPNHS). With the combined efforts of
various stakeholders, the initiative turned out to be a
remarkable success, spreading the festive spirit
among the student body.
The project, a joint effort between Brigada Eskwela
and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government,
aimed to provide a memorable Christmas experience
for the students of WPNHS. Thanks to the unwavering
support of dedicated individuals and groups, the
initiative went above and beyond expectations.
Notable contributors to the project included the
WPNHS teachers, WPNHS Alumni Association, and the
Student-Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) of WPNHS.
Alumni of WPNHS, namely Ronnel Caagbay, John
Mark Castro, and Angee Abdon, played instrumental
roles in making the event a success.
The collaborative effort also received support from
prominent community figures such as PCOL Laudemer
N. Llaneta, SK Rainer Reyes, SK Althea Ballon, SK
Rheyven Zarsuelo, SK Cindy Rose Cabriga, and others.
Their contributions ranged from financial support to
hands-on involvement in organizing the event,
ensuring that the students received a noche buena
package, delectable spaghetti, and thoughtful gifts.
The palpable spirit of unity and generosity showcased
the power of community engagement, making the
holiday season brighter for the students of WPNHS.
The success of "Pagmamahal at Pag-asa: Paskong
Handog ng Brigada Eskwela" serves as a heartening
example of what can be achieved when individuals
