Essential ENT Examination Instruments

ENT instruments are used to examine and treat the ear, nose, and throat. INDICATIONS CPX
- following laryngectomy - failed to secure airway
- hemorrhage
- airway obstruction
- structure injury
- laryngeal injury - infection
- retropharyngeal abcess
• T ventilation tube / grommet tube (Tympanostomy tube)
- treat fluid of middle ear ( glue ear )
- to keep the middle ear aerated for a prolonged period of time
- prevent the accumulation of fluid in the middle ear ( drainge the fluid )
• Ear Suction Cannula
- to clear the surgical site to ease in operation
- in aural microsuction to remove impacted earwax.
