RELATIONSHIPS OF THE
TERMS
SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY
Science is said to be the study of the
natural world by collecting data
through a systematic process called
the scientific method. On the other
hand, Technology refers to the
application of science to create devices
that can solve problems and do tasks.
Technology, therefore, is the
application of Science. As such it is
impossible to separate science and
technology.
RELATIONSHIPS OF THE
TERMS
TECHNOLOGY and SOCIETY
Technology refers to devices that
can solve problems and do tasks.
On the other hand, Society refers
to the company or fellowship of
people of the same likes, needs,
and wants.
Technology, therefore, refers to
the devices created through
Science to satisfy Society’s needs
and wants.
