TUPPERWARE
By: Ann Pethő
HISTORY
• The history of Tupperware began in America in 1946,
when the founder of the company, Earl Tupper,
developed a unique raw material and from it created
the first dish called "Miracle Bowl".
• Headquartered in Orlando, the company is now
present in more than 130 countries around the world
and is a concept among housewives. Today,
Tupperware provides employment opportunities for
more than 1,500,000 people around the world. There
are a total of 19 Tupperware factories in the world
and 4 countries in Europe, Belgium, France, Portugal
and Greece. The number of consultants and
employees of the company exceeds 1,500,000.
PROPERTIES AND
COLLABORATIONS
• As a result of conscious product development,
Tupperware products have excellent characteristics:
they are extremely practical, the dishes are not
deformed under normal use, they do not take over
the smell of the food stored in them, and a
significant part of them can be washed in the
dishwasher.
• Tupperware Brands, in partnership with the
International Save the Children Alliance Foundation,
is helping victims of the Haiti disaster. Save the
Children Alliance Foundation is an international
organization of 29 helping foundations dedicated to
helping/protecting children. Save the Children USA
is a leader in rebuilding Haiti and the donations they
raise are used to help women and their families.
