Ethical Concern related to Implications of
System
❏ AI systems are raising serious ethical issues all over the world .
❏ One of the ethical concern is implication of AI systems

❏ Adoption of Ai system also impact the employment and the workforce
❏ We will learn about adoption concern in the following points
❏ The major concerns related to AI systems are future job security, income
inequalities, compromised security and inability of AI systems to give reasoning for
the decisions made by them
Future of Jobs
● Automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming businesses and will contribute to
economic growth via contributions to productivity.
● They will also help address “moonshot” societal challenges in areas from health to climate
change.
● While we believe there will be enough work to go around (barring extreme scenarios),
society will need to grapple with significant workforce transitions and dislocation.
● Workers will need to acquire new skills and adapt to the increasingly capable machines
alongside them in the workplace.
Security
● Like other technologies,Ai bits can be used for both good and bad purposes .
● The bad side bots can be used by fraudsters to perform automated logins with
the goal of comprising user accounts.
● These systems can also be misused by cyber criminals for hacking or
damaging purposes.
● Artificial intelligence endeavours to simulate human intelligence. It has
immense potential in cybersecurity. If harnessed correctly, Artificial
Intelligence or AI systems can be trained to generate alerts for threats, identify
new types of malware and protect sensitive data for organisations.
Income inequalities
● Income inequality is how unevenly income is distributed throughout a
population. The less equal the distribution, the higher income inequality
is. Populations can be divided up in different ways to show different
levels and forms of income inequality.
● The reason for several income inequalities in many parts of the world is that
the rise in economic inequality in countries is tied to several factors which
include, in no particular order, technological change, globalization, the decline
of unions and the eroding value of the minimum wage.
● For example, we may say that the top ten percent of earners represent fifty
percent of a country's total income

● AI systems make decisions based on real world data
● Reasoning is not like humans
● For example in case of chat bots.
● This will make a concern because it is needed .

● AI’ is a general term that refers to hardware or software that exhibit behaviour which appears
intelligent.
● AI technology is important because it enables human capabilities – understanding, reasoning,
planning, communication and perception – to be undertaken by software increasingly effectively,
efficiently and at low cost.
● The automation of these abilities creates new opportunities in most business sectors and consumer
applications.
● Significant new products, services and capabilities enabled by AI include autonomous vehicles,
automated medical diagnosis, voice input for human-computer interaction, intelligent agents,
automated data synthesis and enhanced decision-making.
