EXTERNAL ANALYSIS OF THE

ORGANIZATION.

Analysis of the external environment

of the organization, to study the
position of the firm in the market.
RIVALRY AMONG EXISTING COMPETITORS

There is strong internal rivalry in this sector

 The intensity of rivalry among the competitors is tackled through economies of scale.

 Consumers are always looking for the latest products with the best values.

 These are the following existing competitors of ID in this industry/ market.

1. SHAHI EXPORTS:
 Due to more production capacity, they have more buyers with higher turnover.

 Leading ahead then Indian design exports.

 Target competitor.

1. GOKUL DAS:
 Production capacity is not as high as of Indian design exports.

 Buyers are different.

1. ARVIND
 Firm expertise in Demin clothing- EX: JEANS.

1. TEXPORT GARMENTS:
 Focus more on style wise productivity.
BARGAINING POWER OF BUYERS

 If the buyer buys a large volume to the company, they can get more benefit.

 The current trend of this factor is in increasing scale as more and more brands are joining ID and ID is
increasing more and more loyal customer’s base.

BARGAINING POWER OF SUPPLIERS

 There are various suppliers of raw materials and inputs which slight differences in quality and price, so the
industry doesn’t have biggest problems in negotiating with them.

 In current trend, with new emerging trends of WHO, the bargaining power is low.
THREATS OF NEW ENTRANTS

 Due to its quality policy like transparency, consistent and 100% quality level the company has a recognized brand and a
customer base.

 To achieve, attract & retain customers, new business would have to enter with a strong and attractive investment product.

THREATS OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS OR SERVICE

 Generally, trend wise products have short life cycles/

 Products are manufactured with a trend towards improved quality / price.

 Due to internationalization of production in low-cost countries, marks the profits making and business strategy for both
the parties.

 Due to aggressive competition on price the quality of the products is improving in the industry.

 So, we can conclude that threat of substitute is low because people don’t have any option to purchase another product to
satisfy their needs, as clothing is one of the essential basic needs of human kind.
