HOW CAN I BETTER PREPARE AND PARTCIPATE IN THE MASS?

• Fast for at least 60 mins before receiving the Communion (Water &
medicine doesn’t break the fast)
• Read the readings of that day before going to church.
• Wear your Sunday best – we are part of a celebration.
• Get to mass at least 10mins early. Settle in (and down) and place your
heart and mind in the presence of the Lord. Say an individual
preparatory prayer (prayer before mass etc.)
• Before entering the church, turn off cell phones or any electronics that
will distract.
