E-RUPI

E-RUPI
 A cashless and contactless instrument for digital payment
 Beneficiary receives e-RUPI voucher on the mobile phone in the
form of SMS/QR code.
 Beneficiary can redeem the e-RUPI voucher at any merchant centre
which is enabled for e-RUPI acceptance
 e-RUPI voucher can be created or revoked on the request of the
Sponsor (Government/Private Entities)
 The cap on the amount for e-RUPI vouchers is INR 1,00,000/- per
voucher for Government schemes only.
 For Private entities, the limit of e-RUPI voucher is at INR 10,000/-
per voucher
 The e-RUPI voucher is allowed to redeem for P2M purchases only
E-RUPI
 The validity of the e-RUPI voucher shall be defined by
the Issuer Bank (Max validity per voucher – 1 year)
 Issuer Bank/Payer PSP shall be able to issue One time
use and Multiple time use e-RUPI vouchers
 National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in
association with Department of Financial Services
(DFS), National Health Authority (NHA), Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and partner
banks, has launched an innovative digital solution – ‘e-
RUPI’
UPI PREPAID VOUCHER(E-RUPI) OF OUR
BANK
 UPI prepaid voucher shall enable services such as COVID Vaccine,
donations, gift vouchers etc. and it can be extended to other such
services
 UPI prepaid Voucher can be issued under B2C (Business to
Customer) and P2P (Person to Person) categories
 Voucher is generated through UPI system in the digital shape (SMS
or QR Code)
 Beneficiary doesn't require UPI app or Bank account for redemption
of Voucher
 Max. Rs. 10000 can be loaded in a single voucher.
 Voucher is not reloadable.
 Voucher validity period cannot exceed one year
