will be the tallest building in South Korea after completion 2016.
The skyscraper surpasses the Northeast Asia Trade Tower by over
200 metres and will include a seven-star hotel.
Goldin Finance 117

The Goldin Finance 117 tower is a 597-metre-high skyscraper

designed by the P&T Group. Located in Tianjin, China this
diamond-shaped building will be completed in 2016 and it will
house offices and a hotel. The Goldin Finance 117 just measures 2
meters less than the Ping An Financial Centre, so it achieves
position 5 in the list of the world's tallest buildings.
Ping An Finance Centre

With its 599 metres the Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen

China will be the tallest building completing in 2016. Designed
by Kohn Pedersen Fox the tower is to be found in fourth place in
the ranking and once complete, the 116-storey skyscraper will be
the world's tallest office building. It wil steal the title from One
World Trade Center in New York.

The third-tallest building in the world is the Makkah Clock

Royal Tower, whose most striking feature is its clock tower.
The clock face is so large that the clock can be seen from 25
kilometers away. The 601-meter-tall building was completed
in 2012 and is situated in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Shanghai Tower

At a height of 632 meters, Shanghai Tower, located in the Chinese city of

Shanghai, is almost 200 meters shorter than Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Although the skyscraper is due to be completed during the course of
2014, it has already topped out (reached its final height) and thus
garnered second place in the list of the world's tallest buildings. In
addition, Shanghai Tower will be home to the world's fastest elevators,
which will climb the tower at the speed of 18 meters per second.
The Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa, known as the Burj Dubai prior to its

inauguration in 2010, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates. With a total height of 829.8 m and a roof height
of 828 m, the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and
building in the world since its topping out in 2009.
Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The Burj Al Arab (Arabic:‫رب‬B‫لع‬BB‫رج ا‬BBB‫ب‬, Tower of the Arabs) is a

luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Of the tallest
hotels in the world, it is the fifth tallest, although 39% of its total
height is made up of non-occupiable space.
One World Trade Center

60 meters behind in fourth place follows One World Trade Center in

New York City, which topped out at 541 meters on May 10, 2013, since
when it has not only been the world's fourth-tallest building but also the
tallest skyscraper in New York City. The building is being constructed
on the site of the former World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the
terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Completion is due in late 2014
CTF Finance Centre

Now the eighth-tallest skyscraper in the world after it topped out in

July 2014, CTF Finance Centre, located in Guangzhou, is a mixed-
use tower that will feature office space, a hotel, apartments and a
shopping center in its podium. Due to complete in 2016, its 530
meters make it 21 meters taller than the next-tallest, Taipei 101.
Taipei 101

509 meters is the height of Taipei 101, which occupies ninth place in
the list. The building was even the tallest in the world from 2004 to
2007 until it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates. Taipei 101 is named for its location in Taiwan's capital
Taipei and for the number of stories in the building – 101 in total. Its
striking design won it the 2004 Emporis Skyscraper Award.
Shanghai World Financial Center

The Shanghai World Financial Center measures just 16 meters less

than Taipei 101. The building, which due to its shape is also referred
to as the "bottle-opener", is a direct neighbor of Shanghai Tower and
was completed in 2008 from a design by Kohn Pedersen Fox.
Xi An Glory International Financial Center

The Xi An Glory International Financial Center (Chinese: 西安国

瑞国际金融中心 ) will be a 75-story building located on Jinye
Road in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. With a height of 350 meters (1,148
feet), it will be the 52nd tallest building in the world, as well as the
tallest building in Northwest China.
85 Sky Tower

85 Sky Tower, formerly known as the T & C Tower or Tuntex Sky Tower
(Chinese: 高雄 85 大樓 ; pinyin: Gāoxióng 85 Dàlóu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ko-hiông 85
Tōa-lâu), is an 85-story skyscraper located in Lingya District, Kaohsiung,
Taiwan. The structure is 347.5 m (1,140 ft) high. An antenna increases the
pinnacle height to 378 m (1,240 ft). Constructed from 1994 to 1997, it is the
tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung, and was the tallest in Taiwan until the
completion of Taipei 101 in 2004.
The Dalian International Trade Center

The Dalian International Trade Center is a supertall skyscraper

designed by architecture firm HOK and under construction in Dalian,
Liaoning, China. Once completed, the building will have a total
height of 365 m, with 86 stories. Construction began in 2003 and was
topped-out in 2017. Completion is expected for 2018.
Golden Eagle Tiandi Tower

Golden Eagle Tiandi Tower A is a supertall skyscraper under

construction in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. It will have a height of
368 metres. Construction began in 2013 and is expected to end in
2018.
Address Boulevard

Address Boulevard is a 73-storey 368 m (1,207 ft) hotel

in Downtown Dubai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It
has 196 five-star-hotel rooms and 523 serviced
residences. The hotel opened in March 2017.
The Bank of China Tower

The Bank of China Tower (Traditional Chinese: 中國大廈 ), abbreviated the BOC
Tower, is a skyscraper located in Central, Hong Kong. Located at 1 Garden Road on
Hong Kong Island, the tower houses the headquarters of the Bank of China (Hong
Kong) Limited. One of the most recognizable landmarks in Hong Kong, the building
is notable for its distinct shape and design, consisting of triangular frameworks
covered by glass curtain walls.
The Bank of America Tower

The Bank of America Tower (BOAT) at One Bryant Park is

a 1,200 ft (365.8 m) skyscraper in the Midtown area of
Manhattan in New York City. It is located on Sixth Avenue
between 42nd and 43rd Streets, opposite Bryant Park.
Almas Tower

Almas Tower (Arabic:‫لماس‬BB‫رج ا‬BBB‫ ب‬Diamond Tower) is a 68-storey, 360 m (1,180 ft),
supertall skyscraper in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Construction of the office building began in early 2005 and was completed in 2009
with the installation of some remaining cladding panels at the top of the tower. The
building was topped out in 2008, and became the tallest building in Dubai until 2009
when it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa.
Vista Tower

Vista Tower (formerly known as 375 E. Wacker) is a 101-storey, 362.9-

metre (1,191-foot) super tall skyscraper being built in Chicago, Illinois
The Chicago Plan Commission approved the building on November 19,
2015, in a meeting that also approved the One Grant Park development.
The Pinnacle

Hanking Center

Hanking Center is a skyscraper under construction in

Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is 350 metres (1,148.3 ft)
tall. Construction started in 2013 and was completed in 2018.
Gevora Hotel

Gevora Hotel (Arabic: ‫ندقجيفورا‬BBB‫ )ف‬is a 1,168 ft (356 m) tall hotel along Sheikh
Zayed Road in the city Dubai. That height has given the skyscraper the title of
tallest hotel building according to Guinness World Records. The four-star
Gevora Hotel opened its doors in February 2018 after a construction period of
twelve years. It offers a total of 528 rooms spread over its 75 floors and a
number of facilities including restaurants and a pool on top of its parking
garage building.
The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel

The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel is the world's second tallest hotel, a 72-
storey, 355 m (1,165 ft) twin-tower skyscraper complex in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates. The AED1.8 billion complex features a 1,608-room hotel run by
Marriott International.
The Emirates Office Tower

The Emirates Office Tower, also known as Emirates Tower One, is a 54-floor office
building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Connected
with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, the two towers
form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total
structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft), making it the
41st-tallest building in the world.[3] The Emirates Office Tower One is taller than the
neighbouring Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, but has two fewer floors. Construction of
the building was completed on November 3, 1999.
OKO

OKO (Russian: ОКО, literally means eye, also an abbreviation for Ob"yedinonnyye
Kristallom Osnovaniya (Russian: Oбъединённые Кристаллом Oснования, literally
means Joined by Crystal Foundation)) is a complex of two skyscrapers located on plot
16 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) in Moscow, Russia.
Occupying a total area of about 250,000 square metres (2,700,000 sq ft), the mixed-
use complex houses apartments, office space, a 5-star hotel, and other commodities.
Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港四季酒店 ) is a five-star hotel

building in the Sun Hung Kai Properties-owned International Finance Centre
complex in Central, Hong Kong. It was completed and opened in September 2005. It
is a 45-storey building with 399 rooms, of which 54 are suites, and also contains 519
residential units, as part of the Four Seasons Place (Chinese: 四季匯 ). It is operated
by Canadian-based hotel chain, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Comcast Technology Center

The Comcast Technology Center is a supertall skyscraper in Center City, Philadelphia.[5][6]

The 60-floor building, with a height of 1,121 feet (342 m), is the tallest building in
Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the tenth-tallest building in the
United States and the tallest outside Manhattan and Chicago. The tower is located on the
southwest corner of 18th and Arch Streets, one block west of the Comcast Center, the
headquarters of Comcast Corporation. A hotel—the highest in the country[7]—and
restaurant are located on the top floors, while central floors contain offices for Comcast
software developers and engineers, and the lowest floors have television studios and retail
stores.
One Shenzhen Bay

One Shenzhen Bay are a group of skyscrapers under construction in

Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The tallest of which will have a height of 338
metres (1,109 ft). Construction began in 2014 and is expected to end in 2018.
The Index

The building contains 25 levels of offices and 47 floors of residential apartments. The
design features a fully glazed double height sky lobby in between the offices and
apartments. Facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, bars and restaurants will be
accommodated on this recreation deck. The tower has been designed to minimize
adverse climatic effects on the building. It is orientated so that the east and west cores
shelter the floor plates from the intense heat of the sun in this region. Sun shades are
used on the south facade to minimize the effect of solar gain.
Longxi International Hotel

The Longxi International Hotel or Hanging Village of Huaxi (Chinese: 空中

华西村 ; Chinese: 空中華西村 ) is a late-modernist-futurism supertall
skyscraper in Jiangyin, Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. The mixed-use tower began
construction in 2008 and completed in 2011. The building rises 328 m (1,076
ft) with 74 stories. The skyscraper includes a glass sphere at the very top. The
opening of the Longxi International Hotel was on 12 October 2011.
The Al Yaqoub Tower

The Al Yaqoub Tower is a 328 m (1,076 ft) tall skyscraper on

Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower
topped out in 2010 and was completed in 2013. It has 69 floors.
The building is owned privately by Daro Saifuddin Yaquob, and
functions as a 224-room hotel.
Wuxi Suning Plaza 1

Wuxi Suning Plaza 1 is a supertall skyscraper in Wuxi, Jiangsu,

China. It has a height of 328 metres (1,076 ft). Construction
began in 2010 and ended in 2014. It functions as a hotel,
apartment, and office building.
Baoneng Center

Baoneng Center is a supertall skyscraper under construction in

Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It will be 327 metres (1,072.8 ft)
tall. Construction started in 2014 and is expected to be completed
in 2018.
Salesforce Tower

Salesforce Tower, formerly known as the Transbay Tower, is a 1,070-foot

(326 m)[1] office skyscraper in the South of Market district of downtown
San Francisco. It is located at 415 Mission Street between First and Fremont
Streets, next to the Transbay Transit Center site. Salesforce Tower is the
centerpiece of the San Francisco Transbay redevelopment plan. The plan
contains a mix of office, transportation, retail, and residential uses.
Aspire Tower

Aspire Tower, also known as The Torch Doha, is a 300-metre-tall

(980 ft) skyscraper hotel located in the Aspire Zone complex in
Doha, Qatar. Designed by architect Hadi Simaan and AREP and
engineer Ove Arup and Partners,the tower served as the focal point
for the 15th Asian Games hosted by Qatar in December 2006.
The Arraya Tower

The Arraya Tower is a skyscraper completed in 2009 in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The tower serves as a grade-A office structure. With sixty storeys, and 300
metres high (with a 45-metre spire), the building was the tallest tower in
Kuwait until the construction of Al Hamra Tower in 2011. On January 19,
2010, The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) announced
that Arraya Tower was the 4th-tallest building completed in 2009.

One Island East (Chinese: 港島東中心 ; Cantonese Yale:

Góngdóu Dūng Jūngsām), is a skyscraper in Taikoo Place,
Quarry Bay, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong.
First Canadian Place

First Canadian Place (originally First Bank Building) is a skyscraper in the Financial District of
Toronto, Ontario, at the northwest corner of King and Bay streets, and serves as the global
operational headquarters of the Bank of Montreal. At 298 m (978 ft), it is Canada's tallest
skyscraper and the 15th tallest building in North America to structural top (spires) and 9th highest
to the roof top, and the 105th tallest in the world. It is the third tallest free-standing structure in
Canada, after the CN Tower (also in Toronto) and the Inco Superstack chimney in Sudbury,
Ontario. The building is owned by Brookfield Office Properties, putting it in co-ownership with the
neighbouring Exchange Tower and Bay Adelaide Centre as well as various other office spaces
across Downtown Toronto.
Shanghai Wheelock Square

Shanghai Wheelock Square is a skyscraper located in Puxi, Shanghai,

China. It is the 91st-tallest building in the [Link] Wheelock Square
building has 58 floors, and just over 100,000 m2 (1,100,000 sq ft) of
prime office space. It is located across the street from the Jing'an Temple
Station on Shanghai Metro Lines 2 and 7.
Eureka Tower

Eureka Tower is a 297.3-metre (975 ft) skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne,
Victoria, Australia. Construction began in August 2002 and the exterior completed on 1 June 2006.
The plaza was finished in June 2006 and the building was officially opened on 11 October 2006. The
project was designed by Melbourne architectural firm Fender Katsalidis Architects and was built by
Grocon (Grollo Australia). The developer of the tower was Eureka Tower Pty Ltd, a joint venture
consisting of Daniel Grollo (Grocon), investor Tab Fried and one of the Tower's architects Nonda
Katsalidis. It was the world's tallest residential tower when measured to its highest floor, until
surpassed by Ocean Heights and the HHHR Tower in Dubai. It is the second tallest building in
Australia, behind Q1, Queensland, and is the tallest to roof (excluding spire). As of 2016 it was the
15th tallest residential building in the world.
4 World Trade Center

4 World Trade Center (also known by its street address, 150 Greenwich Street) is a
skyscraper that is part of the World Trade Center complex in New York City. It is located on
the southeast corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site, where the original
nine-story 4 World Trade Center stood. Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki
was awarded the contract to design the 978-foot-tall (298 m) building. It houses the
headquarters of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ).
The Grand Hyatt Manila

The Grand Hyatt Manila is a 318 m (1,043 ft) mixed-used skyscraper,

located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila. It is the
tallest building in the Philippines[3] since its completion in 2017.
Trump Tower Manila

Trump Tower Manila, also known as Trump Tower at Century City, is a residential building
located in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Trump Tower Manila showroom opened
in early 2012, although the company has said that unit reservations started in September
2011. Groundbreaking of the building began in June 2012, with a scheduled opening in
November 2017. Construction was nearly finished as of November 2016. The $150 million
tower will stand 57 stories high upon completion. The building is located at the Century
City mixed-use complex in Makati Poblacion. It is the second tallest building in the
Philippines and tallest in the Makati City skyline.
The Philippine Bank of Communications Tower

The Philippine Bank of Communications Tower, more commonly known as PBCom Tower,
is an office skyscraper ranked officially as the third tallest building in the Philippines. It was
previously the tallest building in the Philippines, a title it held starting year 2000 until the
completion of Federal Land Tower in early 2017. It has a total ground to architectural top
height of 259 metres (850 ft), with 52 storeys including an 8-level radio tower. It is a joint
development of Filinvest Asia Corporation (FAC) and the Philippine Bank of
Communications (PBCom). The building is the home of PBCom, one of the oldest
Philippine banks. The bank occupies the building's first ten floors, with a food court on the
seventh floor.
The Gramercy Residences

The Gramercy Residences, also known as The Gramercy Residences at Century City,
is a residential high-rise condominium in Makati, Philippines. As of 2016, it is the
second tallest building in the Philippines. It is the first of several buildings built at the
new Century City complex along Kalayaan Avenue by the Century City Development
Corporation.

The Grand Riviera Suites is a high rise residential skyscraper

located along Roxas Boulevard in Manila, Philippines. At 230
meters (750 ft) high, the building is the tallest building in Manila
city proper.
Shangri-La at the Fort

Shangri-La at the Fort is a 5-star luxury hotel and mixed-used

building in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila,
Philippines. It opened on March 1, 2016 and one of the three
hotels managed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts located in
Metro Manila, Philippines. It also hosts residential units.
The One Shangri-La Place Towers

The One Shangri-La Place Towers are twin residential towers

situated in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. Both of its
towers are 64-storeys high with a height of 227 meters (745 ft),
making them the tallest twin towers in the Philippines. It stands a
top a wing of the Shangri-La Plaza Mall since 2014.
The Knightsbridge Residences

The Knightsbridge Residences, also known as The Knightsbridge Residences @ Century

City, is a high-end residential skyscraper constructed in Makati, Philippines. It is the second
of several building projects built in the new Century City area along Kalayaan Avenue. It is
one of the Philippines' tallest buildings. The Knightsbridge Residences at Century City takes
its name after the most expensive neighborhood in London, Knightsbridge.

Al Hamra Tower

Construction of the skyscraper started in [Link] was completed in

2011. Designed by architectural firms Skidmore, Owings, Merrill and
Ramshir and Callison, it is the tallest carved concrete skyscraper in the
world, and the thirtieth tallest building in the world at 414 m (1,358 ft).
Zifeng Tower 

(Greenland Center-Zifeng Tower or Greenland Square Zifeng Tower,

formerly Nanjing Greenland Financial Center)[3][4] is a 450-metre (1,480 ft)
supertall skyscraper in Nanjing, Jiangsu. The 66-story building completed in
2010 comprises retail and office space in the lower section. The floors near
the top feature a hotel, numerous restaurants, and a public observatory.

23 Marina is an 88-story, 392.8 m (1,289 ft) residential skyscraper in Dubai

, United Arab Emirates. It was the world's tallest all-residential building
until the completion of the nearby Princess Tower.[5] The tower has 57
swimming pools and each duplex in the tower is equipped with its own
private elevator.
Logan Century Center 1

Logan Century Center 1 is a 386 metres (1,266.4 ft)-tall supertall 

skyscraper in Nanning, China. Construction started in 2013 and was
completed in 2018.

residential-only skyscraper located in the Marina district of Dubai, UAE.[4]
 Princess Tower is currently the third tallest building in Dubai, after the 
Burj Khalifa and the Marina 101 and the 29th tallest building in the world.[5]
 Princess Tower was the tallest residential building in the world from 2012 to 2015,
when it was overtaken by 432 Park Avenue in New York City.

located on Hamra Street, Damascus, Syria. It has 59 rooms and one
restaurant, one café and one bar. The hotel was opened in late 2007.
JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

This project, owned by The Emirates Group, was originally conceived as a single, 350 m
(1,150 ft), 77-storey tower intended to be completed in 2008 and built alongside the 
Sheikh Zayed Road. However, its design and location had to be changed because of the
construction of a creek extension belonging to the Business Bay megaproject. The new
twin-tower design was launched at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai in 2006 with
395 m (1,296 ft) towers.
DAMAC Residenze

DAMAC Residenze formerly named DAMAC Heights and Ocean

Heights 2, is an 85-storey, 335 m (1,099 ft), supertall skyscraper under
construction in Dubai Marina, Dubai.[2] It is the second supertall project by 
DAMAC Properties, the first being Ocean Heights, which is also located in
Dubai Marina.

Shimao International Plaza (Chinese:  上海世茂国际广场 ) is a 333.3 m

(1,094 ft) tall skyscraper of 60 stories in Shanghai's Huangpu District. It was

The Al Yaqoub Tower is a 328 m (1,076 ft) tall skyscraper on 

Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower topped
out in 2010 and was completed in 2013.[3] It has 69 floors.[2] The building is
owned privately by Daro Saifuddin Yaquob, and functions as a 224-room
hotel.
The Chrysler Building

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco–style skyscraper located in the 

Turtle Bay neighborhood on the East Side of Manhattan, New York City,
near Midtown Manhattan, at the intersection of 42nd Street and
