ARABIC LEARNING PROGRAMME
• English is the primary language of instruction at Greenfield International School. Students at

home. To allow for higher levels of thinking in all subject areas, we develop students' language
skills while developing their English proficiency. The wealth of diversity within our student
body has truly helped develop some key language programs within our school.
• As learning the country's host language is a valuable experience for all international students,
Arabic learning Programmes are mandatory from KG1 through Grade 9. This is based on the
requirements of KHDA and the Ministry of Education. Depending on whether Arabic is studied
as a native language or as a foreign language, students attend Arabic A or Arabic B classes. For
grades 10, 11, and 12, non-Arab students may select Arabic A or B as part of the regular
curriculum.
