Student Health Services in Private Schools

This study examined health care services provided in private schools and private establishments in the Philippines using survey data. The author analyzed the data to calculate percentages and averages related to health care provision based on school enrollment size and industry/employment size. The findings showed that private schools provide student health services consistent with 30-year old standards set by the Department of Education. The author recommends reviewing and updating these new standards to better suit current private school situations.
