Bed Racing
Performed by a student of 10-A form
Ann Haidukova
Bed racing is a team, outdoor and racing kind of sport.
Bed racing first appeared in 1965 and was popular
with the US military. Then this entertainment became
more and more popular and now everyone can play
sports without getting out of bed.
The rules of the race are simple: you need to be the first to
cross the finish line. But there are limitations. There should be
only one person in the bed, and no more than six participants
can push it. The bed must also be kept on the water, as one of
the stages of the competition is crossing the river.
Fun Facts: In addition to sports awards, you can also win
a prize for the best design of the bed and suits. That is
why participants show creativity and compete in bright
and unusual costumes.
This turns the competition into a real show and attracts no less
spectators than traditional races or bicycle races.
