• Under certain conditions it may be necessary to use screened alarm cable. The screen should be connected to
Earth at the Control Panel end only.

• Cabling to Keypads and Expanders can be in a Daisy Chain or Star Configuration or any combination of both.

• Maximum of 8 x Keypads and 8 x Expanders allowed per Network

• Double the cores for the Network Voltage but do not double up the cores for the Network Data.

• The Network cable must only be utilised for the Network and only one Keypad or Expander per cable

• Fit an ACT1313 if the Induced Voltage is higher than 1.5vac

• If you use twisted pairs then double cores for Network Voltage, but use a single wire for T and a single from
the other pair for R ( the use one and lose one rule)
