This case revolves around Tim, the CEO and Kristen, the new manager. Driscoll is going
through financial crisis and this is when they get an offer from their biggest formal client,
Hybara Casinos. Given the crisis, Tim agrees to this and to submit it under the deadline of 2
weeks, whereas this project usually would take around 6 weeks. With vacations coming up, it
becomes strenuous for Kristen to fulfill the project and here is when Alessandra, ex manager,
who resigned to open her own consultancy firm comes.
Organizational Decision Making Meeting Deadlines
Quality Product Offering Client Retention
Tim should create the environment of two-way communication, so that decisions could be
taken effectively
Adopting focused approach would give better results in the time of crisis
Tim should authorize Kristen on behalf of Driscoll to measure the hazards and costs involved
in taking up the project
Engaging Alessandra instantly for this project on contract basis and adding Kristen, the
rookie from Driscoll to work with her
Assessing quality control and feedback on daily basis would enhance the customer
satisfaction
