Smart Bus Social Distance System

The document describes a proposed smart bus system with social distancing and seating capacity features. The system will [1] count the number of passengers boarding and deboarding and display it, [2] ensure social distancing between passengers by alerting the driver if two passengers sit side by side, and [3] automatically count and display the total number of passengers on the bus. It will use technologies like Arduino, buzzer, LCD display, pressure switches, and IR sensors. The system aims to automate operations, increase safety, maintain social distancing, and provide real-time passenger counts.

OBJECTIVE

• It gives the information of the number of passengers boarding and

deboarding.
• There is also a social distancing in seating.
• It will also display the number of passengers in the bus.
• If any two passengers sit side by side it will alert the driver to change
the seat of that passenger.
ABSTRACT

• In recent times, more and more people ought to stop using their own cars and
start using more in public transportation as this can only have a Positive
impact on the environment.
• The public transportation tends to save money and even frees up the time.
• In public transportation, buses might be pretty crowded in the rush hours,
which is a higher chance of exposing to infectious diseases.
• So,we came up with a project named “SMART BUS WITH SOCIAL DISTANCE
ALERTING, ALONG WITH ADVANCED SEATING CAPACITY”,which overcomes
these problems, by ensuring social distancing between the people.
.

EXISTING SYSTEM

There is no counting system, only thing is manual approach system,

doors will be controlled manually.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

• In our proposed android system, any passengers who will board, it will be shown
in the display monitor installed in front of the bus. No manual counting would be
needed.

• If there is a passenger in side by side there is an alarm sound that maintain the
social distance .

• There will be some alert switches for passengers to alert the driver.

• The actual number of passengers will be automatically counted.

Advantages

•Complete automation.

• Safety can be increased due to automatic door lock.

• Maintain social distance.

• We can display Counting through LCD.
