MERS-CoV Protection by Heavy Chain Antibodies

Highly potent heavy chain only antibodies protect against MERS-CoV infection. A PhD candidate from the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands presented research showing that heavy chain only antibodies were highly potent in protecting against MERS-CoV infection in an animal study. The presentation was given at an IMI Scientific Symposium in Brussels, Belgium on October 22nd and 23rd, 2018.
