Car Tagging in Origin-Destination Surveys

Origin and destination surveys use methods like roadside interviews, license plate tracking, return postcards, and tagging cars to determine the origins and destinations of trips. The tag on car method involves placing identifying tags on vehicles at cordon lines surrounding a study area, then recording the entrance and exit times to determine journey times within the area.
