Display and Text Size
This feature focuses solely on customizing
the display on the screen in order to make
it easier to view if you have color
blindness or any other vision challenges.
Some accommodations available are, bold
text and larger text. Both of these features
help to accommodate people with vision
challenges read texts easily by making the
text more visible.
Audio Description
Audio description will assist those
will vision challenges by
describing content being viewed by
the [Link] example, if the
user is watching a movie the
feature will use audio to describe
what is happening in the scenes to
viewer.
Voice Control
If the user has any motor challenges
voice control is a feature that will be
of great assistance. Voice control
allows the user to control their Iphone
using just their voice. The individual
can customize commands and instruct
their Iphone to press apps and play
music.
Pointer Control
The pointer control feature allows the
user to change the appearance of the
pointer to make it more visible. This
pointer is accessed by using a mouse or
a trackpad that is connected to the
Iphone. Pointer control also allows the
individual to adjust the scrolling speed
and color.
Sound Recognition
This feature can assist individuals with
hearing challenges in day to day life.
The sound recognition feature can
recognize sounds such as a doorbell,
crying child and fire alarm. When the
Iphone recognizes these sounds a
notification is sent to the user. This may
be very beneficial to deaf and hard of
hearing individuals in dire situations.
