INTRODUCTION

Guava leaves can also protect your skin against ultraviolet


radiation, a major environmental factor in skin wrinkle
formation and hyperpigmentation. This is caused by exposure
of skin from dirt, dust, pollution and other things that can
result in skin reaction.
INTRODUCTION

Sanitation has been a challenge to most health care


providers since most infectious diseases are caused by
pathogenic bacteria. Hand sanitizers are popular products
used in fighting against most bacteria that people may come
into contact with.
INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this study is to address this gap by providing


an organic formulation of guava hand sanitizer gel that can
be used as an effective way other than hand washing. Using
hand wash is essential in decreasing destructive microbes to
some individuals. The formulated of Guava Hand Soap
Sanitizer is recommended in reducing the production of
bacteria.
METHODOLOGY

This study is to determine if guava leaves extract


will be an effective substitute of other hand
sanitizer and to know if it is an effective hand
sanitizer.
METHODOLOGY
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT

The researcher need the following materials to be


able to perform, conduct, and produce the Hand
Soap Sanitizer. They will be needing 3 spoonfuls of
salt, 50 guava leaves, 16 oz water, Sodium Lauryl
ether sulfate, (SLES) 150 ml, a few spoonfuls of
lavender scented oil (or any scented if you prefer)
a few drops of food coloring (any colors you like).
METHODOLOGY
A strainer to filter the liquids,
a small pot to boil the guava
leaves a liquid measuring
cup to have the exact amount
of the liquids, glycerine 2ml,
and empty bottle or liquid
soap dispenser for the
storage of product.
PROCEDURE
1. Add guava leaves to a pot filled with
a 200ml of water.
2. On the burner and Stir well
3. After 15 minutes remove the leaves
4. Then concentrate it, to about half
of its volume
5. Transfer it to beaker
6. Let it cool
7. Now get ready to make the hand
soap sanitizer
8. Add 150 ml of SLES and Add 8
spoons salt
9. Then stir
10. Add the food coloring (any colors)
11. Add 2ml of glycerine
12. Stir again and Add the scented oil
perfume
13. Then put the solution in a container
RESEARCH
INSTRUMENT

The Instrument used was a researcher made questionnaire ratings for use to be
able to gather the needed data and feedbacks about the researcher’s Organic
Guava Hand soap sanitizer. In the preparation of the instrument, the requirement
in the designing of good data collection were considered

CONCLUSION
The Guava Leaf Hand soap
sanitizer is effective at
cleaning hands and killing
bacteria. The respondents
agree that the product works
and they want to recommend
it to their colleagues and
relatives.
RECOMMENDATION
The researcher wishes for
improvements in the
preparation method and the
improvement of the Sanitizer
as kill more bacteria in the
hands and the usage of more
organic materials.
