When you have a lot on your plate, it means you have a lot to do and that
can cause stress and make you angry for the slightest thing.
They drive you crazy- makes you angry and lose control
Snap- lose control of your feelings and get angry).

de-stress, or wind down/ take a breather- to relax
“My head’s about to explode”
“I have been working on this proposal for the last 6 hours. I feel like my
head’s about to explode. I need to get out of here.”
“I’ve had it up to here”-When there have been too many demands on your
time and you truly can’t cope anymore and you snap. (lose control of your
feelings and get angry).
“I’ve had it up to here with Katharine’s demands. She either accepts the
situation as it is or she can leave.”
US Millennials Say They're The Most Stressed Age
Group
A June 2019 survey has found that 78% of US millennials – those born
between 1981 and 1996 – and other young people believe their lives are
more stressful than older age groups.
US alternative medical supply company, Lhasa OMS asked 2,010
Americans aged 18 to 37 about stress in their lives. They found that 86%
of women and 73% of men feel stressed several times per week. What's
worse: 40% of young people feel stressed every day, and only 12%
regularly make time to relax.
The top cause of stress for both men and women was money (74%),
followed by work (65%) and trying to get a work-life balance (56%).
About 78% of young people believe they have more debt than older age
groups, and 76% think finding a job is more difficult. Nearly two-thirds
said they're worried about politics and the future of their nation, while
61% are worried about the future of the planet.
More than half said social media makes them feel stressed,
while 31% said dating is more difficult for them than it was
for older age groups.
More than nine out of 10 millennials said being paid more
money would make them feel less stressed.
Most young people deal with stress by watching TV or
movies (60%), listening to music (52%), sleeping (48%),
eating their favorite foods (42%), and walking or running
(41%). Other popular answers included spending time with
friends, hobbies and drinking alcohol.
