ABOUT FABRIC CUTTING

Fabric Cutting
Fabric cutting is important in textile or garments industry. A garment will
be ready to wear when it will be completed by sewing many part of fabric
which are cutter in a cutting table in the lay or spread of fabric.

Fabric Cutting in Garment manufacturing :cutting is the process which

cut out the pattern from specified fabric for making garments. Using
the makers made from graded patterns and in accordance with the
issue plan, fabrics are cut to prepare garment assembly. This is the Fabric cutting
major operation of the cutting room.
CUTTING
z DEPARTMENT,CUTTING HIERAR OR ORGANOGRAM.

Cutting Departmant:In most circumstances (except one-piece knitted garments), garments

are assembled from several components. This is essential to establish profile/ shape to the
garments, to overcome the constraints of fabric width. The cutting is the process of
reproduction of shape of pattern pieces in the fabric during the production of garments. The
cut fabric panels are then joined using a series of stitches and seams to produce three-
dimensional garments.

Cutting hierarchy or organogram:

Here I have shown the organ gram of cutting section.

FACTORS INVOLVED & purpose IN FABRIC CUTTING.

Factors affect the cutting process for fabrics are as follows:-

Purpose in fabric cutting are as follows:-

[Link] must be cut by specific some size to be it useable to make garments.

[Link] of piece of garment’s fabric should be cut one time on cutting table at a time.
[Link] is possible to cut thousand of garment’s fabric same design which is provided from buyers or any company.

Cutting section in Apparel industry
Cutting room is a section in the garments industry where to cut fabrics as per the pattern, marker; cutting parts sew to bring in
garments form. Cutting is the most sensitive operation in the apparel industry, cutter man work accuracy is the key here to maintain
good cutting quality. If you are related to the apparel industry or apparel manufacturing process you should know cutting work
activities.

IMPORTANCE OF CUTTING ROOM
z

•Efficient and well-planned operations in cutting room ensure smooth flow of work to all further processes
and can definitely lift up the utilization of the available resources.
•The cutting room is the feeding point to the factory has a massive impact on all the further processes of
garment manufacturing i.e. sewing, finishing etc.
•Cutting room controls the utilization of fabric which is the biggest contributor to the cost of any garment.
Even small wastage or saving of the fabric will have a huge effect on the margins of the orders.
•Cutting being the first operation of garment manufacturing lays the foundation of quality of the garment
to be made. Any imperfection in cutting process can result in non-conformance of the quality standards
of all further processes.
