Have: (1) To possess

I have a big house.

They have a lot of money.

She has a car.

I have a great job.


Have: (2) To have relations

I have two brothers.

They have five children.

She has two sisters.

I have five friends.


Have: (3) to perform an action
I have a shower/bath/sauna every day. (take)

I have lunch/dinner/breakfast/meal/ice-cream every day. (eat)

I have a test/exam/homework lesson every day. (do)

I am having a party/meeting/game/competition tonight. (attend)

I am having a cup of tea/coffee with my friend. (drink)


Have: (4) To suffer from a disease

I have a cold. (infection in nose and throat with cough)

I have a flu. (an infectious disease with a very bad cold and high temperature)

I have a headache.

I have a sore throat.


Expressions with Have

Is that your camera? Can I have a look? (Have a look)
