Tips for Practicing in Another Key!
1. Establish your key with solfege using the starting pitch!
a. Find your starting pitch with your tuning fork or from the piano.
2. Sing the arpeggio on solfege as a warmup!
3. Sing the arpeggio on letter names as a warmup!
4. When you are sight reading, solfege always works better than letter
names or neutral syllables!
5. When you are sight reading, using your hand signs is more accurate
than just singing the solfege alone!
