TNAU Agritech Portal Overview

The Tamilnadu Agricultural University launched its Agritech Portal in October 2009 to provide agricultural information to farmers. The portal contains nearly 100,000 pages in English and Tamil with information updated daily on topics like crops, livestock, machinery, markets, schemes and technologies. It aims to accelerate agricultural development and improve farmers' livelihoods by serving as a knowledge platform and extension tool.
