SELF DISCIPLINE
• What is Self Discipline ?
• Why do we need to discipline our self ?
• What will happen if someone struggle to have
self discipline?
• What are the Habits and Exercise that can
help you?
Self discipline is when we know how to put some
limitations and control your own words and actions.
Do you make goals yet get discouraged when your
plans don't work? We all know those people who
seemingly were born to succeed. Fitness, health,
business - they achieve all their goals. You want that
success, and know you can get it... but how?
Everywhere you turn, there are obstacles that block
your path.
Being successful doesn't mean avoiding them; it
means meeting those obstacles head on and pushing
through. You need the self-discipline and willpower to
see you through to the end. On the other hand, lack of
self discipline leads to failure, loss, health and
relationships' problems, obesity, and to other
problems. This skill is also useful for overcoming
eating disorders, addictions, smoking, drinking and
negative habits. You also need it to make yourself sit
and study, exercise your body, develop new skills, and
for self improvement, spiritual growth and
meditation.
We need to discipline our self because, Self-discipline is one
of the most important and useful skills everyone should possess.
This skill is essential in every area of life, and though most
people acknowledge its importance, very few do something to
strengthen it. Contrary to common belief, self-discipline does
not mean being harsh toward yourself, or living a limited,
restrictive lifestyle. Self discipline means self control, which is a
sign of inner strength and control of yourself, your actions, and
your reach Self discipline gives you the power to stick to your
decisions and follow them through, without changing your
mind, and is therefore, one of the important requirements for
achieving goals.
If someone having difficulty to discipline himself,
he/she doing it wrong. Our behaviors are not based
on logic or ideas. Logic and ideas can influence our
decisions, but ultimately, our feelings determine what
we do. Most people think of self-discipline in terms of
willpower. Chances are, at some point in your life,
you’ve tried to change your behavior through sheer
willpower. And chances are, you also failed miserably.
Don’t feel bad! This is what happens most of the
time.
To be a good person, you had to not only deny
yourself any pleasure, but you also had to show your
willingness to hurt yourself. Self-discipline is much
more of an environmental problem than it is an
individual one. While an individual can change their
beliefs and behaviors through education, the
resources available for education are presented by the
environment.
This are the habits and exercise that can help you to achieve
