He has a experience of more than 20 years in this field and that too in various
Industries such as Consumer durables, Pharmacitical, Steel, Oil & Gas and
Engineering.
He spokes about his jouney in the HR Profession through various Industries and
the experience, benefits and opportunities he gets from all these sectors.
He spokes about his role & responsibilities as well as challenges he faced in
various sectors he worked.
He started his professional journey by default.
He is a Gold medalist with masters degree in social work specialisation in
Personal management, Industry relations & Labour welfare from Chennai
university.
He began his carrier as a HR profession in 1993 with Voltas Limited.
He had worked with many other companies such as Jindal Steel, Xerox,
BG Exploration and even in the middle east.
As per his opinion in the next few years he saws HR as a function, more
as a Administrative work.
He said that “Organisation is not a structure, it is capability of people and
how people resouce that capabilities part of it, is the most important
thing”.
He spokes about how HR support to the business in various ways.
He said that unless and until you put basic structure in place HR part will
not be good, so there is a need to put basic on place and then build on it.
His ambition is to be able to start looking at & contributing back to the
community at large especially in terms of young HR professionals to
coach them, guide them, help them to become good HR professional.

While working with Investment banking companies he realised that most
of the companies are not using the data for decision making as they don't
have skillset and time to analyse their data.

 It has its own standards, rules & protocol and members has to follow its
rules & regulations.
 It helps put together multilateral interline traffic agreement which allows
airlines worldwide to accept each others tickets and documentation.

 In 1952 it has introduced Standard passenger sales Agency agreement

 It is another organization which supports Travel Agents and
its headquarter is at Monaco & France.
