Vigan officially the City of Vigan, is a 4th class component
city and capital of the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Modes of transport within the city are purely land-based.
Vehicles for public use include jeepneys, tricycles, vans-
for-hire and calesas. Buses, and mini-buses provide
transportation to and from Vigan.
TheBigueno’s multi storey car park is a mechanized or
automated car parking system is a mechanical system
designed to minimize the area and/or volume required for
parking cars
The APS, utilizes a mechanical system to transport cars to
and from parking spaces (rather than the driver) in order to
eliminate much of the space wasted in a multi-story
parking garage

Present and Future Demand Analysis
• To know the whether the BIGUENO’S MULTI STOREY
MECHANIZED CAR PARK (supply) will be a need in the
future case, it is important to know the local and foreign
tourists (demand) in Vigan City in order to
accommodate by the supply.

demand, it is important to know the capacity of some
commersial establishment in Vigan City to be a basis in
determining the desire capacity of the proposed project that
will be shown in Table 3.

Location and area of the project
The project shall be located at Bonifacio St. corner,
Vigan Vity, Ilocos sur. The location is best because of its
strategic area; it is almost at the center of [Link] is
where center of business. Many commercial
establishment surrounded around the project. It is about
200 meters away to the famous landmarks of Vigan, the
Dancing Fountain, Vigan Heritage and others. The lot
area of the site is approximately 960 square meters.
Project description
The proposed BIGUENO’S MULTI STOREY MECHANIZED CAR
PARK is designed as a Seven-Storey Building which is a square in
shape with the floor area of 735.56 square meters. The design of the
structure is modern and inspire by the mechanized car park of
Japan. The building is a rentable parking for the all type of 4-wheel
light vehicles, motorcycles are free to park at the existing land area
of the building. Each floor is composed of 21 parking slots. For
safety, the building will also be equipped with fire alarms,
sprinklers and smoke detectors. The structure is also equipped
with CCTv’s.
Utilities

The source of power supply is from
ISECO(Ilocos Sur Electric Corporation), Solar Panel
design by licensed and expert electrician with
supervision of all licensed electrical engineer to
ensure the safety of the building. All specification
should be accomplished, followed and should be on
the Philippine Building Code.
Source of Construction Materials
*Availability of Raw Materials
The materials to be used shall be a standard
quality and timely to ensure continuity in the construction
of the building. Materials shall be purchased from local
hardware and if supply of materials is not available, the
contractor shall procure needed materials from other
distribution within the region.
Anyone who has driven through a public parking garage
knows how time consuming and difficult it can be to find an
open parking space. Driving up floor after floor seeking a
vacant spot or the sight of someone pulling out of a space –
we have all been there. But, have you considered the negative
impact this can have on the environment? This environmental
impact comes in the form of continuous exhaust emissions.
With an automated parking garage, cars are turned off before
they enter the system so the engines aren’t running while the
car is being stored and retrieved, reducing the amount of
pollutants by 60 to 80 percent.
In the constructing a car park, especially in a place where
traffic is heavy, the government must think if the project will
be helpful to all, and must not create a big problem in the
community. The government must consider the situation. If
this situation is must be of help, the construction will help in
giving work to many people in the community, lessen the
jobless people, helps the community prosper their economy,
and it will give earnings and taxes to the government.
