Business Model (with Government FiT)
• Governmental implementations such as Feed in Tariffs(FiT) gives
consumers a greater incentive to purchase PV panels
• There are currently plans for the current government FiT to be
replaced by a renewable-based market, where extra electricity can be
bought depending on its merit order
• Stellar’s module will be sold to consumers for a total of £400
producing 340 W each, an average UK household can house 8-11
panels. Therefore will cost the consumer £4400 for 11 panels and will
take X years to recover their investment at the current FiT rate of
5.24p per Watt
