Management and management process:

Definition of management:

Management may be labelled as the art of getting work


done through people ,with satisfaction for employer,
employees and the public.
 For getting the work done through the efforts of the
other people, it is necessary to guide, direct,
coordinate and control human efforts towards the
fulfilment of the goals of the enterprise.
Management process:

Management process can be done by the following


series:
 Planning : it is deciding in advance-what to do ,
when to do &how to do.
 Organizing : it is the identification of activities
,classification of grouping of activities and
assignment of duties.
 Staffing: involves the organisation structure through
proper and effective selection and development of
personnel to fill the roles designed under the
structure.
Management process:

➢Directing : which actuates the organizational


methods to work efficiently for achievement of
organizational process.
➢Controlling : the process of checking whether proper
progress is being made towards the objectives and
goals and acting if necessary , to correct any
deviation.
