Simple Past Tense in Transactions

This chapter teaches about using simple past tense in texts. It provides instructions on how to use simple past tense to describe past actions and situations by giving examples of sentences using verbs like "was", "were", "bought", and "rained" referring to specific past times. It then provides two sample texts, one describing a storm from the night before and another describing a flight two months ago, as examples of using simple past tense to recount past events.
