Management is science because it is organized
knowledge.
The essential features of any science is the
application of the scientific method to the
development of knowledge.
Science comprises clear concepts, theory and

Management is both science and art.
• Management like all other practices, whether
medicines, music, composition, etc….
• It is doing things practically in the lights of the
realities of the situation.
