SAP Project Systems

 Project Management is the process of Planning, Organizing,


Controlling, Managing Resources, Structuring, Execution and
Risk Management.
 Project is a temporary endeavor where it has definite start and end
of activities
 SAP Project System Supports various scenarios and project types
such as MTO, ETO, in Financials prospective Capital
Projects/Investment Projects/ Cost Projects, and Information
Technology and Engineering Design & Operations

ETO-Engineer to Order
 Engineer to Order projects are used from design, procure and
Manufacture and deploy the project to the customer as per the
customer specific requirement. In this process if the company
manufactures the products as part of the project in house and
few parts or part of the project from external vendors .
 The manage the lead time and to deliver the project on time as
per the required dates is the main focus and there fore you
create from the Inquiry, Quotation or Order process and then
Procure from the external suppliers, Assemble the project and
then deliver the project to the customer. This scenario used
mainly in Engineering, Constructions & Operations, Turbine
Manufacturing, Aircraft Design and Manufacturing, Electricals
and Industrial Engineering, and Defense Forces and Public
Security and other relevant engineering Industries
