 This motel approach from the highway : the main


building appears from the highway to attract the
customers.

 This motel is built onto one leveled normal sand with the
car parking directly in front of the rooms .

 The entrance from the highway is nicely curved for the


cars to maneuver from the highway into the motel.

 This motel takes the shape of a hollow rectangle which


gives it the advantage to give privacy to the outdoor area.
 SITE PLAN:
 The motel is divided into three main areas :
[Link] building which includes the lobby,
shops, offices, kitchen, dining bar.

[Link] outdoor spaces which includes dining


terrace ,outsides terrace.

[Link] Groups with the parking in front of


them.

 In this motel the guest rooms is arranged into


10 units having cross shapes , with these 10
units Making a U shape , making the access
to the main building and the outdoor area
an easy one.

 The architect made a good use of


landscaping to give the motel a nice
relaxing view .
 MAIN BUILDING PLAN
 BASIC UNIT PLAN

each unit have eight rooms


with the parking for eight cars
on either sides of the cross for
easy packing and unpacking .
MOTOR HOTEL IN NUEVO LAREDO
GROUND LEVEL PLAN
 This motel is built with one building
taking L shape and several floors .

 Ground floor :
This floor is for the services zone such as
the lobby , court, restaurant , kitchen ,bar,
pool and a private area for the servants,
Typical floors for the rooms only

 This motel has a nice wide curve for


the cars to maneuver from the
highway onto the motel .
TYPICAL FLOOR PLAN
 Every typical floor has about 20
guest rooms arranged nicely to
take the space with a good easy
circulation.

 All the rooms have a private terrace


looking onto a landscaped court .

 In each typical floor there is service


room and at least to janitors room
to be able to service the floors
easily.
 The only problem this motel faces is that they wont be
able to park the cars in front of the rooms directly , but
they found the solution and its that also the parking is
made into several story park so that you can park
 The guest rooms are arranged in groups in above your room and they made an easy access to the
typical floor taking advantage of all the motel room floor you can go down to it easily.
