Toddler Growth and Development Guide

Toddlers experience dramatic growth and development between ages 1 to 3, learning to move independently, dress, eat, and develop physical skills. While growth slows after the first year, toddlers and preschoolers aged 1 to 5 gain height and weight steadily and develop motor skills through daily exercise and play. Most children have all 20 baby teeth by age 3, as the first two years are critical for dental development influenced by parents' diets and genetics.
