Post-Test Data
Now
that we are at the end of the unit
and the posttest has been taken, I can
conclude that my students now have a
better understanding of the standards that
were being tested. Most students grew on
the end of the test for this unit. For the
students who did not grow, I will be
continuing going back to this material in
the coming units to make sure they
understand topics before the end of the
year testing.

Pretest
Posttest
Student
1 made a huge jump from the
pretest to the posttest. After speaking
with this child one on one and making
sure that she was mow comfortable with
the main event of the story, she seemed
to have a better grasp on the entire unit.
Student 1 gains
Student
2 did not increase as much as I
would have hoped to have seen. He did
improve, but not as much as I would have
liked to see. From the distractors I placed
in the test, I can still see that words that
look similar but have different meanings
still are confusing.
Student 2 gains
Student
three showed huge growth! I am
proud of this student because they paid
extra close attention, and really worked
on not missing school in this unit. I am
very proud of them. They even stayed
after a couple of days to get additional
help.
Student 3 gains
This
student did not show any gains on
the post test. I was afraid this was going
to happen because she did not have good
participation or behavior in the unit. She
was either distracted or absent every day
of the unit. I am going to have my special
ed assistant review the main topics with
her soon.
