Short Film Location Notes and Insights

LOCATION NOTES

Ashamae Swyer 13U

Valentines Park
We will be using the Gants Hill entrance and lake path in
Valentines Park for Scenes 4 and 7 of our short film. We decided
to use this location as local parks are typically visited by couples
in Romantic films, and can connote a state of peace/balance and
love.

City of London Cemetery


We will be filming the entrance and a headstone at the
City of London Cemetery. We chose to use this location to
solve the enigma surrounding the character of Hayden,
who only appears to Karina as a figment of her
imagination. Also, the inclusion of a location that
connotes peace but also pain, we felt it would be
appropriate for a Romantic Drama.

Residential Road

We will also be filming on a residential


road in the Wanstead/Snaresbrook area,
for scenes 2, 3 and 6. We are using this
location for the purpose of having
continuity within the narrative.

Bedroom
We will be filming in
Danielle Conneelys
bedroom for the
opening scene of our
short film. We chose
to use this location to
create a believable
character and
enhance the quality
of the film.

Bus stop
We will be using a local
small bus stop for
scenes 2 and 4 of our
short film. As stated with
previous scenes, our
reason for choosing this
location is to keep the
continuity of the short
film as smooth as
possible.
