President Duterte appointing you as the
HUDCC Chief?
R: I thank President Rodrigo Duterte for
appointing me to head HUDCC. I can serve
our countrymen who are homeless, I can
continue my promise to push for progress
and addressing the housing needs of those
who are in need has been a long time
advocacy of my husband Jesse Robredo.
H: Yesterday-June 13, 2016 is your 1st day
as the HUDCC Chief. What did you do
yesterday maam?

R: A day after I took oath as the


housing czar, I met with the leaders
at the new office of the Vice President
at the Quezon City Reception House.
H: Who are present in the meeting

R: Present in the meeting are leaders
from
Urban
Poor
Associates,
Community
Organizers,
and
Ugnayang Lakas ng mga Apektadong

as a loveteam called Dubredo- a portmanteau of

R: (laughs) OMAYGAD Palagay ko because over
the course of more than a month parang all that
was ever written about us was we werent seeing
eye to eye. When we finally met na mukhang
maayos naman, I think many Filipinos were relived.

are our VP, do you have future plans
to run for president in 2022?
R: No. I already said to the Filipino
people that I have no plans and
ambition to be president. But when
that time that people urged me to run
for VP, I have no choose but to run
because I dont want to disappoint
them.
