OWN HEROIC STORY

You assignment
You are to write your own heroic story. You will need
to invent a hero and choose a setting for him or her.
This hero should undergo the same 7 steps that all
heroes encounter.
Requirements
Your story should be written in seven chapters. Each
chapter will have a title. For instance, Chapter One
will be called “The Call to Action.”
Your chapters do not have to come in the same order
as they do in our notes, although they probably will
come pretty close.
Some chapters will be much longer than others. This
is okay.
Feel free to use other steps that we have discussed,
such as the apotheosis and in the belly of the whale.

This should be neatly written in paragraph form.
It should have a title.
It should include dialogue.
The story should be at least two pages, front and back,
but will probably be much longer.
DUE MONDAY, 22 FEBRUARY

 Jasmine walked down the runway as if nothing else in the
world mattered. This the most important night of her life, and
nothing was going to ruin it. Her heart beat rapidly as she
approached the end of the runway. One of the most well known
photographers of the modeling industry, Pierre, was standing at
the end of the runway waiting to capture the moment. The pose
at the end of the runway was going to make or break her.
 Jasmine strutted towards the tip of the runway, her legs
shaking and heart ready to jump out of her chest. SNAP! The
crowd went wild as Jasmine posed and showed off the lovely
gown she was wearing. Most importantly, Pierre had caught the
shot! Jasmine knew now she was definitely going to be signed
with Ink Blot Modeling Agency and now Pierre would not lose
his job.
Chapter 1:
The Call to Action
 Jasmine was back stage preparing to go on for the next show,
when there was a frightening knock at the door! “Who is it?”
Jasmine answered startled.
 “Jasmine, its me Pierre open up, hurry!” Pierre answered
constantly banging on the door. Jasmine answered the door, only
to see Pierre knelt down on the floor almost in tears.
 “What’s the matter Pierre?” Jasmine asked as she knelt down
beside him.
 “My beloved camera, with you shot, its…its….its GONE!”
answered Pierre hysterically. Jasmine could not believe what she
had just heard. Her career was ruined and there was nothing she
could do about it. “One of the models took it, they had to, you
need to find it Jasmine.” Pierre finally answered. Jasmine sprang
to her feet and grabbed her Coach purse and was out the door.
Chapter 2:
The Divine Help
 As Jasmine raced out of the building, and into the streets of New
York, she stopped to think. She had no idea who could have possibly
taken it, or how she was going to find them. Jasmine sat on the bench
in the subway station with her hands in her hand. What was she going
to do! Suddenly, there was the flashing lights of cameras coming from
everywhere. Out of nowhere, appeared on of the worlds most
legendary super models, Tyra Banks. Jasmine could not believe her
eyes. She sprang to her feet and fanned her hands excitingly. “Oh my
gosh, your Tyra Banks!” she screamed. Tyra smiled and handed Jasmine
a small golden tube of lipstick.
 “I know of your adventure Jasmine, and this will help you.” Tyra said
as Jasmine took the lipstick.
 “How will lipstick help me?” Jasmine asked puzzled.
 “Flash it over the eyes of the model you think is guilty, and it will
force her to tell you the truth” Tyra said before she strutted back down
the magical runway, and it disappeared after her.
Chapeter 3:
Threshold
 Jasmine found out from important sources that all 9 of
the models from the show, had went to Italy for a models
retreat. Jasmine got the first ticket she could find, and flew to
Italy. When she got there, she knew that her adventure had
begun. She could not believe still what was happening to her.
She was now in Italy, and searching place to place for the
stolen camera. Jasmine’s pretty girl posture had flown out the
window on her way to Italy. She was only concerned with the
camera and the camera, and her picture that was on it.
Chapter 4:
Road of Trials
Jasmine searched high and low for the models, but no one knew exactly
where the retreat was being held. Jasmine located the office of George
Gordashionson, who was in charge of the retreat, and went in to find
him.
“I can not tell you where the retreat is unless you go on 4 go-sees.” Mr.
Gordashionson answered.
Off Jasmine went. The first go-see was to Jaime Kingsley, who was in
charge of Africa’s Fabolous Frenzy, a runway show that was well known
amongst all. Jasmine, without a problem, was booked and her first
mission was accomplished. The second go-see was to Sharon Ahall, who
was in charge of the Kelly Davidson runway show, held in Britain. At this
show, Jasmine was also booked without a problem. The next two shows,
Gordon Harrison and Jessie Korlangdoe, who were in charge of booking
models for Jay Tee Runway show, also booked her.
Jasmine rushed to the office of Mr. Gordashionson, and gave him the
results of each of her go-sees. “The retreat is upstairs at the spa.”
Chapter 5:
Ultimate Battle
 When Jasmine reached the top of the stairs. She burst through the
door frightening all of the models, sending them into a frenzy. Jasmine
ordered them to all line up, and she flashed the light of the golden
lipstick. “Which one of you stole the camera that belonged to Pierre?”
she asked angrily. Jasmine received no answer, but she did notice that
one of the models eyes was closed. It was Matilda, her rival that always
tried to steal the spotlight from her. “I should have known it was you.”
Jasmine screamed.
 “I always knew you couldn’t model, but I never knew you were so
dumb!” Matilda laughed. “I took the camera and it took you days to find
out!” Jasmine ran full speed into Matilda and grabbed her by her weave.
“Give me the camera, or I will tell everyone your horrible secret.”
Jasmine said still holding her hair. The secret was, that Matilda was
actually a man! Without hesitation, Matilda gave Jasmine the camera
and begged her not to tell anyone of her “operation”. She knew that this
would definetly ruin her career.
Chapter 6:
The Return to Normalcy.
 When Jasmine returned to New York. She rushed to
Pierre who was still crying on the floor. She handed
him the camera and sank to the floor next to him. “Oh
thank you Jasmine, you have saved my career and
yours to.” Pierre rejoiced.
 Jasmine was signed with Ink Blot, and Pierre did
not loose his job. Her career was saved and she lived
fabulously ever after.
