Bahasa Inggris (English for Academic Purposes) is
one of general lectures studying how to understand
and use English linguistics especially for academic
purposes related to a certain scientific discipline
The lecture discuss knowledge about reading,
listening, understanding English texts
comprehensively and authentically according to the
original by revealing basic English
Target
To read and understand English texts by scanning, authors / words
index tracing and skimming;
To distinguish English structure; to enrich English vocabulary
To identify certain/uncertain & counted/unaccounted articles
To write an abstract, summary or synopsis
To conclude the main idea of a sentence, a paragraph, a passage,
and/or an English composition
To understand compound sentences
To translate English or Indonesian comprehensively
To understand how to prepare a research and/or project report;
To understand rare English terminology
To arrange references based on national and international systems
To understand comprehensively what has been read or listened
To exercise the skill to write English composition
