History
Rajputana was a region of western India ruled by the Rajputs, from the seventh and eighth century- and hence its name which literally means Land of the Rajputs

Commenced operation 1st November , 1992

The hotel was designed by architect Mr. Rajinder Kumar.

Built on a historical piece of land Atal Van - the residence and rose garden of the Atal family erstwhile Finance Minister of Jaipur State . It is a majestic tribute to the proud warlord princess of Rajasthan.

Built on the lines of a traditional Haveli, it boasts of a distinct architecture. So faithfully has the royal atmosphere been re-created that it is not unusual for guests to ask about the origin of the Hotel.

MAIN LOBBY

The hotel Lobby is named after the famous Jaigarh Fort, whose ramparts atop a hill can be seen from the hotel. The Fort was constructed during the reign of His Highness Jaisinghji - the founder of Jaipur. A depiction of the Fort painted by renowned artist Sanjay Bhattacharya, forms the perfect backdrop to the hotels reception area.
