Siebel Access Control for Analysts

This document discusses how access to views is controlled in Siebel eBusiness Applications through the use of responsibilities. Responsibilities determine the set of views a user has access to based on their job function. Views can be included in one or more responsibilities. Users are assigned to one or more responsibilities and see the union of all views associated with their assigned responsibilities when they log in. The user's experience is further customized based on the layouts defined for their primary responsibility.
