BP Risk Management Strategy Overview

BP has three main business segments: exploration and production, refining and marketing, and power and renewables. Its mission is to produce affordable, secure energy that doesn't damage the environment. Following the 2010 Gulf oil spill, BP aims to restore trust and the environment through continued cleanup efforts and new safety/risk management programs. Its goals are to regain trust, restore the environment and economy, and build shareholder value on a foundation of safety. BP plans to attain these goals through compliance, consultation, transparency, and continuous improvement.
