Daily Maintenance
Daily maintenance have four tasks
RNC environment check OMM server status check RNC MO( Managed Object ) status check RNC alarm audit

Equipment Room
Temperature
Recommended temperature: 15C to 30C.
Humidity
Recommended humidity: 40% to 65%.
The burglarproof net, door and window are intact. The equipment room is tidy and clean without distinct dust.
Security
Cleanness

OMM client can login normally. Performance data can export normally. System configuration data backup policy running normally.

From client PC run run-client icon and try to login.

Open PM GUI first.

In PM GUI, open Performance Data Query.

Performance data can export normally. From pop up dialog, select CELL-KPI index and type ok.

If system can generate non-blank value it means PM work normally. If all are blank value, please contact next level for troubleshooting.

From CM GUI, select Management type Data Recover.

Select Happen Time in the filter Time range set to 24 hours Then type OK button.

Weekly maintenance have two tasks
OMM client virus scan. System configuration data export (XLS format).

Use Anti-virus software scan OMM client PC.

In CM GUI, select RNC Managed Element MO.

After this, from menu bar add RNC ManagedElement menu. Select Configuration Data Export Tool item.

In the pop up dialog has 6 pages. Type Select All for each page.

Type Export Data button.

Select save directory and wait few minutes.

System will generate a folder in your PC.

Monthly maintenance have two tasks
OMM server disk space check. NTP status check.

Delete old configuration data stored in OMM ../umssvr\backup\sysmanager folder. Use df k to confirm system disk space.

Check OMM server TOD time is the same with TOD source. Check RNC TOD time is the same with OMM server.

Check OMM server TOD time is the same with TOD source.
In OMM server GUI, from System menu select Show System Time item.

Check OMM server TOD time is the same with TOD source.
In OMM server GUI, from System menu select Show System Time item.

Compare the result with TOD source. Any time shift ask next level support.

Double click RNC Ground Resource Management MO

In the right view select Synchronize NEs Clock icon.

If successful, RNC TOD time already adjusted. If failed, ask next level for support.
