The Vacant post in Accident & Emergency is exclusively for a Full-Time Specialist. Candidates with
MD Accident & Emergency or MD in Medicine/MD in Anesthesia or Diploma/DNB in Anesthesia/MD
Pulmonary Medicine or Diploma / DNB with intensive care experience/DM or Diploma/DNB in Critical
Care may also be considered.

The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the
period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover the professional liability falling on them as a
result of errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum
sum assured per annum should be

i. Rs 30 lakhs: Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc.

ii. Rs 20 lakhs: for General Surgeons, Gynecologists, Obstetricians etc.
iii. Rs 10 lakhs:for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, pathologists etc

Note:
1. Seats may increase or decrease at the time of interview.
2. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its
discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
3. The Administration will consider the merits and demerits as per the need of the
services and reserves the right to offer Full Time engagement accordingly. For part time
engagement reservation policies shall not be applicable. candidates shall be
preferred if any apply for Full Time.

General instructions:
01. The recruitment will be purely on contractual basis and selected candidates will have no claim
for regularization of the service in the hospital.
02. The selected candidates will have to join immediately / within 15 days from the date of receipt of
the letter for offer of Appointment.
03. Candidates must be registered with Karnataka Medial Council or MCI before joining the post.
04. Canvassing in any form shall be liable for disqualification.
05. Hostel accommodation/quarters/uniform/transport allowances will not be provided.

7. The selected candidate for the post of Senior Resident under three-year scheme will have to
furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 95,0001 (Rupees Ninety-Five
Thousand Only)drawninfavorof 'ESICA/cNo1'payableat Bengaluru towardssecurity
deposit. lf the candidate resigns/terminates his/her contract within One Year of the
commencement of the contract, Rs. 30,0001 (Rupees Thirty thousand only)will be

B. The selected candidate will have to give one month notice prior to his resignation, failing which
amount of one month's salary or amount towards the shortfall of one month notice period will
be paid by the selected candidate.
9. The selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness & verification of

10. Private practice is strictly not allowed as the selected candidates will be in receipt of non-
practicing allowance. lf found guilty, suitable action as provided under the relevant rules shall

2. Part Time Specialist will not be entitled for any kind of leave or benefits.
3. Available on call 24x7 il he/she is drawing emergency call charges.
4. The SuperspecialisVSpecialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his
supervision in his discipline
5. The selected Specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the
period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover the professional liability falling on them

6. The selected candidates will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs.
