Information Technology | 2025-2029


Task 1:
Create a sales table: | Product | Jan | Feb | Mar | Total | and Calculate total sales.

 First create table. Name the products whatever you want. Fill Jan, Feb and Mar column
on your own.

 For total sales, apply the following formula

 Now drag the cell till the bottom


Task 2:
Apply: Sorting (highest to lowest) and Filter (show sales > 5000)

 For sorting, select entire table. Click Data tab and select Sort section.

 Select Total Sales in sort by section and Largest to Smallest in order section.
 This is the Total Sales column from Largest to Smallest order.

 For Filtering, select the entire table and click Filter section.

 Click the icon on the total sales. Select Number Files. Furthermore, select Greater than.
 Write down 5000 as given condition. Click OK.

 The sales above 5000 has been displayed.

Task 3:
Conditional formatting : Highlight values greater than 7000 and Apply color scale

 To highlight values greater than 7000, select the column of total sales. Click
Conditional Formatting, Select Highlight Cells Rules and Select Greater than.
 Write down 7000 as given condition and apply color of your choice

 This is the result.

 For color scale, click conditional formatting, click color scales section and select any
color.

Task 4:
Create: A Column Chart for monthly sales and A Pie Chart for product totals.

 For monthly sales, select the columns from product to March. Click insert tab. Select
column section and then select column of your choice.
 This is the column chart for monthly sales.

 For chart title, select layout of chart tools. Click chart title section. Furthermore, click
centered overlay title.
 Write down “monthly sales” or whatever you want to write.

 For pie chart, select the total sales column. Click Pie and select pie chart of your
choice.
 This is the pie chart

Task 5:
Freeze top row.

 For freezing, go to the view tab. Click freeze panes and select freeze top row.

 The top row has been freezed.
