Introduction
Process Definition is for defining sequence of steps to be executed for compliance of the systems
and procedures of the bank. It includes:
Defining business workflow for handling opportunities and incidents for proper resolution and closure.
Defining business workflow for approval of CIF creation or modification, campaigns, quota setup, incentive setup and
ht
quota allocation.
ig
Some of the process steps to be complied within the system can be automated to save time and
ensure consistency and accuracy. Certain steps which require manual intervention are handled by
yr
the users who possess the necessary skill sets. The critical requirement of any business process is
compliance with timeliness. Any delay in completing one or more steps of the process can delay
an entire process. In this case, banks may prefer escalations to the concerned authorities.
op
The bank may need to configure multiple process to consider all the above mentioned aspects.

the requirement at the bank. The templates are specific to the products.

You can do the Service Level Agreement (SLA) setup to specify the turn around time based on the SLA Value. As
part of process definition, it is possible to assign TAT based on SLA Value. The TAT Value could be an absolute time

entity as part of CIF creation or maintenance. There are five levels for a SLA. In case the requirement is to compute
