1. The Winter Olympics is an international sports event held once every four years. It
features sports that are played on snow and ice. Athletes from many countries take
part in this grand event to show their skills and sportsmanship.

snowboarding, and bobsleigh. These sports require great strength, balance, speed,
and regular practice. Athletes train for many years to compete at this high level.
