A. Preliminary -What was our last topic?


Activities -In our previous lesson, you have learned about living and
non-living things.
-And what are those living and non-living things?

f. Motivation
Instruction:
The teacher will show the picture to the learners .

Direction:
The learners will name what they see in the picture.

A. Introduction

The learners will play the game called “ GUESS THE


WORD”.
In this game all the pupils are the players.
Teacher will read the definition of each basic needs of the
plants, animals, and humans. And pupils will guess what
basic needs according to the definition.
A. Teaching modelling
As the game continues, pupils who have guessed the right words
should arrange the rambled letters to get the correct name of the
basic needs.

Guided Practice
 If the letters have been arranged and the pupils provide the
scrambled words they will explain the benefits.
 Answer the question: What are the benefits of the shelter,
food, water, rain and sunlight in the living things.

B. Independent Practice

In this part the pupils will draw 1 living things and explain the
basic needs.

V. EVALUATION
Directions: List down at least (3) Basic needs of the plants,
animals and humans.

ASSIGNMENT

Bring at least 1 living things (ex. Flowers, pet ) that found in your
house .
