Good morning and Assalamualaikum to everyone present here!
Respected Principal Ma’am Uzma Khakwani, our dedicated Head Mistress Ma’am
Farkhanda, honorable teachers, and my dear students —
We warmly welcome you all to this exciting, vibrant, and thought-provoking Debate
Competition at Multan Public School!
Teacher 2:
Indeed! Today is not just an ordinary day — it’s a celebration of voices, vision, and
values.
Debating teaches us to think critically, listen respectfully, and speak powerfully.
It helps us realize that every opinion matters and every voice can bring change.
Teacher 1:
This morning, our young debaters will take the stage not only to argue a point but to
share their minds and open their hearts.
They will show that true confidence comes from courage and preparation.
Teacher 2:
So let’s sit back, listen carefully, and cheer for these bright minds who are ready to
inspire us all.
But before we begin this journey of words and wisdom — with your kind permission,
Ma’am Uzma, may we please start today’s competition?

With your blessings, we officially begin this exciting morning filled with knowledge,
imagination, and inspiration!
So get ready, everyone — the stage is set, the microphones are on, and the spirit of
healthy competition is in the air!
Page 2 – Student 1 (Welcome Segment)
Before we start the competition, let’s take a moment to thank our guiding lights —
our respected Principal Ma’am Uzma Khakwani and Head Mistress Ma’am Farkhanda
whose encouragement turns every student into a confident speaker.
Let’s give them a big hand of applause!
Without their guidance, we might still be debating whether it’s recess time or class time!
Page 3 – Student 2 (First Round – Class 2)
Now, it’s time to begin the battle of ideas!
Our young speakers have prepared powerful arguments — some will speak in favour,
and some against the topic.
The topic for today’s first debate is:
“Every Child Should Plant a Tree.”
Speakers in favour will tell us how trees give us shade, fruits, oxygen, and life itself —
while those against may say, “But what if my tree grows faster than me and blocks my
house window?”
Let’s welcome our enthusiastic speakers from Class 2 with a big round of applause!
Page 4 – Student 3 (Second Round – Class 3)
Our next round brings even more excitement!
This time, our debaters from Class 3 will discuss the topic:
“Art and Music Should Be Necessary in Schools.”
Those in favour believe art and music help students express themselves, relax, and be
creative —
while those against might say, “We already draw on our notebooks during maths, that’s
enough art!”
Let’s see whose argument strikes the right chord —

Page 5 – Student 4 (Third Round – Class 4)
And now, moving on to the senior section — our confident debaters from Class 4!
They will speak on a very interesting and debatable topic:

Speakers in favour will convince us why this idea makes sense —
while those against are ready to challenge them with solid arguments and maybe a
pinch of humour!
So get ready for some sharp points, witty comebacks, and confident performances.

Wow! What a morning filled with ideas, laughter, and inspiration!
Our young debaters truly proved that thinking, reasoning, and expressing are the real
superpowers.
From trees to tunes — and now the creative thoughts from Class 4 —
they showed that every topic can bloom with imagination and logic.
Whether they spoke in favour or against — every student here is already a winner!
