Administrator

• Administrator accounts are
special accounts that are used for making
changes to system settings or managing
other people's accounts. They have full
access to every setting on the computer.
• An administrator account is a login ID on a
system with elevated privileges, suitable for
managing the system -- installing software,
applying patches, managing users, starting
and stopping services, etc.

How do I log on as an administrator?
• Type the user name and password for your
account in the Welcome screen.
• Open User Accounts by clicking the Start

GUEST ACCOUNT
• The Guest account from Windows is a
standard, local user account, with very
limited permissions.
• The Guest account has the following
restrictions: It does not have a password,
and you cannot set one for it. You cannot
use it to install programs, universal apps
or hardware devices.

• Standard: Standard accounts are the
basic accounts you use for normal everyday tasks.
• As a Standard user, you can do just about anything
you would need to do, such as running software or
personalizing your desktop.
Standard with Family Safety:
• These are the only accounts that can have parental
controls.

Date
~Press the Windows key on your
keyboard to display the taskbar if it isn’t
visible.
~The Windows key has the Windows
logo on it.
~Right-click the Date/Time display on
the taskbar and then choose Adjust
Date/Time from the shortcut menu.

personal Pictures folder.
• Most people store their digital photos in their Pictures
